ALL YOU NEED IS an Onion, Garlic & Ginger 500-750g of your favourite main ingredient SO HOW DOES IT WORK? STEP 1: THE PREP finely dice a medium onion and finely grate 4 cloves of garlic and 2 inches of fresh ginger. Soften the onions, garlic and ginger in a pan using cooking oil for about 2 minutes on a low hob setting. The result should be a translucent mixture – don’t caramelise! Step1 STEP 2 : CURRY BASE Mix your Bang Curry Spice Mix into a paste using water and add this to the pan. If you wish, add some tomato puree or 1-2 diced tomatoes – continue to heat on a low setting. step2 STEP 3: ADD INGREDIENT Add your main ingredient and stir under a raised heat for about 1 minute. Add boiling water to your desired consistency and simmer until cooked. The cooking time varies according to your main ingredient. For chicken and fish this is about 20 minutes and for red meat slow cooking by far gives the best results. step3 FINALLY ENJOY YOUR HOME COOKED BANGLADESHI CURRY!
