Belvoir fruit farms was just a fruit farm until our founder’s wife, Mary Manners, started making cordials in her kitchen by infusing the elderflowers and pressing the fruit grown on the farm. Since then, Belvoir has carried on the same infusing, pressing and cooking of fresh flowers, fruits and spices which are then blended with the clear water from the Vale of Belvoir Springs.
We still make Elderflower Cordial to Mum's own recipe "…exactly as we always have have done," says Pev (our MD), "corny but true!"
Everything that goes into the drinks is 100% natural – no fake colours or preservatives and no flavours either – which gives them a real homemade taste. That’s why the Belvoir motto is “Naturally Delicious; 100% good”.
When we launch a new product, we try and offer something a bit different which is a twist on an old favourite, and this year is no exception. We've developed a delicious new cordial variety using our original Elderflower infusion blended with the crisp taste of gooseberrys and the deliciously sweet taste of Muscat grape. Give it a try this summer and let us know what you think.
All our drinks are naturally delicious and full of real fruit juices and fresh water from the Belvoir spring. They’re perfect for pouring into pitchers and sharing with friends, or as a tasty tee-total tipple. For generations, country people have been making fruit cordials as a way of preserving summer fruits to enjoy over the winter months. Our range of naturally delicious cordials are made using the same traditional methods. They contain masses of pressed fresh fruits, freshly-picked flowers and cooked spices so they taste deliciously real and they dilute up to 1:10. They do not contain any artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives.
