  • An imposing antique earthenware jug with a dragon and acanthus leaf handle
  • This factory operated between 1840 and 1857
  • In addition, there is an incised 2051 and a scored X to the underside
  • Has a feel of Doulton Lambeth to it
  • There is a small professional repair to the base
  • The jug stands an impressive 15 inches high and weighs nearly 2Kgs.
  • This work was carried out by our own ex Royal Doulton model maker and artist
  • The stamp is a little unclear to the base, resembling TSVD rather than TS & C
