c1895 Richard Eckert & Co pair hand painted figural vases - F251

£475.00
475.00
  • They can be dated to 1895 as in 1896 Meissen demanded the withdrawl of their crossed sword mark, (see photograph)
  • They are in the form of children holding onto semi-open parasols, each child carrying baskets filled with flowers
  • An unusual pair of spill vases by the Rickard Eckert & Co factory of Rudolstadt-Volkstedt in Thuringia, Germany
  • Each stands approximately 7 inches high
  • There have been minor professional, (invisible), repairs to the parasols and one or two of the flower petals, but since this can not be seen, they make a beautiful pair.
