Product Description

  • The flesh of the fruit and seeds are both used as cosmetics and for eating as well.

    The oil contains saturated and unsaturated fatty acids
  • Serving suggestion: Excellent choice to make foods, salad dressings or you can eat it on its own
  • Saturated fatty acids such as palmitic and stearic
  • For the people of Hunza, apricots are just as important as cereals, vegetables, legumes or the various red berries
  • The cosmetic use of apricot kernel oil: oily / normal skin care; bath oil; facial creams, peeling, massage oils, and to prevent the formation of stretch marks
  • Monounsaturated oleic acid and polyunsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic-, linolenic-, arachidic- and elcosen acids
  • Replacing them with mono- / polyunsaturated fatty acids contributes to maintaining and reducing the blood cholesterol levels
  • The products is rich in unsaturated fatty acids!

    The use of apricot kernel oil can be extensive:
    It is part of everyday meals for Hunza people: they eat it with a spoon, and use it for salads, and is also used for baking
