Like all quality green teas, the leaves for this tea are picked during the spring. When the jasmine flowers are at their most fragrant, in the summer months, the buds are picked by hand, then carefully layered throughout the tea leaves. Fresh jasmine buds are added each evening over the course of several days until the jasmine scent is perfectly infused throughout the tea. The finished tea is then rolled into small 'pearls'.
