PREPARATION: Place Bulgar wheat in a bowl, pour over boiling water (or stock for extra flavour), cover the bowl and stand for 30 minutes until the water/stock has been absorbed and the grains are puffed and swollen. Drain, if necessary, and fluff with a fork to separate the grains.
