Conserve della nonna was founded in Ravarino, in the province of Modena, in 1973.
In 1974, it became the first company to make and sell preserves in jars.
In 1980, the first sauces were produced.
In 1995, the company expanded its portfolio of products with jams and marmalades, vegetables, pulses and specialities, to more than 100 items.
In 2005, the company was acquired by L Capital, the first step to growth and to becoming part of a specialized food group.
Today, in 2009, a new range has been launched - Organic, and a new distribution channel - Food Service.
Our production philosophy values genuine and high-quality raw materials. We choose advanced technologies to best preserve the freshness of these ingredients.
Our products are carefully prepared without PRESERVATIVES or ADDITIVES, choosing FRESH ingredients that are picked when they are perfectly ripe.
This all leads to the highest quality in the finished products.
Authentic and original Italian recipes
100% natural products
Prepared from the freshest carefully selected ingredients
Our production is planned strictly according to the seasonal availability of the raw materials used.
As a confirmation of the quality of its production processes and finished products, Conserve della Nonna has obtained IFS and BRC certification.
IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC (British Retail Consortium) standards set forth quality requirements food product suppliers must comply with in order to access international markets and respond to the demands of branded product distributors.
They include quality management, production processes and environmental standards, the implementation of hygiene control systems, the definition of monitoring and control systems and regular staff training.
