Easel measures 19”H x 13”W x 11”D – Folds flat to store
Learning Styles: Tactile, Visual
Social & Behavioral: Use Howie as a tool to learn body parts as well as talk about appropriate touch and personal space.
Self Help: Howie can assist students in correctly identifying an injury or pain to an adult.
Basic Concepts: Provides a visual aid for parts of the body and the magnetic bandages offer points of focus. Howie’s body can be related back to the student’s body to create a correlation.
Language: There are many different body parts outside of “head, shoulders, knees and toes” for students to learn. Students can practice their expressive and receptive language skills and heighten vocabulary by identifying appropriate terms for body parts and having the tools to express how their body physically feels.
Chocking Hazard- Small parts.
Not for children under 3 years.

Comments about Where is Howie's Owie?™:
Learning Resources offers a fantastic selection of toys that will delight your children. Where is Howie's Owie? is no exception. This toy is simple, but has entertained my son for countless hours.
One side is magnetic, you make a owie on Howie with a dry erase marker and your child identifies the owie and places a magnetic bandage on it. The opposite side is not magnetic, but you can use a dry erase marker on it too. It has lines for easy labeling of body parts. I liked that this toy helps to build vocabulary and it helps children with body awareness. My son also likes to draw on Howie with dry erase markers whenever the opportunity arises.
I think this is a great toy for any preschool age child. It combines fun and education, it is durable which is important. My son can be rough with his toys, this sturdy easel has held up well with daily play. I would recommend considering any toy from Learning Resources this holiday season for the special children on your shopping list.
BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
