hole hemp seeds are the nutrient foundation with their balanced omega oils, protein and fibre. Blend with silken tofu for an instant dessert, with frozen cherries for an exotic smoothie or simply sprinkle onto your favourite yoghurt.

Acerola cherry (organic – powder)
Acerola – also known as Barbados cherry – is a tropical shrub. It came to Love Your Blender’s attention when we read it is one of nature’s richest sources of vitamin C, in a form highly useable by the human body – then we tasted it and loved the sweet-with-bite, cherry-ish flavour it adds to smoothies. It also gives you vitamin A, riboflavin, folate, magnesium, potassium and copper. We haven’t found these little berries in a whole dried form yet, but we’re looking…
When we first had our blender, we were happy throwing fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds into it; but then we started to crave a little extra excitement… Inspired while planning a trip to Morocco, we tried adding edible rose petals and adore the perfumy fragrance they add. We’ve kept it subtle for Cherry Rose – think a hint of floral scent rather than a box of Turkish Delight.
Sea buckthorn berries (organic)
We had to try these tart little berries after hearing their omega 7 oils are amazing for maintaining skin health, while their ORAC value (measurement of antioxidant properties) is second only to that of acai. Their taste on their own is bitter but blending them into a sweet smoothie adds a depth to the flavour. Our organic berries currently come from Pakistan, but harvesting on a commercial scale may begin in the UK soon.
Vanilla pod (organic)
When our first batch of whole Madagascan vanilla pods arrived at Love Your Blender HQ, we felt like we were smelling vanilla for the very first time. Powder or extract just can’t compare to the scent of a whole dark, moist pod. Our vanilla pods are organic and FairTrade. See our Blog post about the farms they come from.
We’ve all grown up hearing how almond oil is great for the skin. That’s thanks to its vitamin E content, and one Cherry Rose sachet helps you towards your daily quota. Our organic almonds are from Spain, and make us reminisce about chilled-out holidays in villas among almond groves… They also provide protein and fibre along with happy memories.
Hemp seeds (organic)
Hemp seeds are almost a complete protein (being only a little low in lysine), super-valuable if you don’t eat animal products; and their balance of omega 3, 6 and 9 oils is regularly declared by nutritionists to be nigh-on perfect for the human body. You can buy ‘hemp hearts’ or ‘shelled hemp’ for sale, but we thought, when our high-powered blender allows us to consume the whole seed, cracking the nutrients fresh into your drink and getting the benefit of the fibre in the outer husk, why not use the whole thing? Don’t be put off if you’ve tried hemp protein powder and disliked the taste – the whole natural seed has a much milder slightly nutty flavour.
