Replens MD Vaginal Moisturiser-6 x 2.5g

REPLENSMD™ is a HORMONE FREE vaginal moisterising gel which provides longer lasting relief from symptons of vaginal atrophy and dryness, itching, irritation and (where applicable) painful intercourse. Regular use, three times each week, provides continual relief of symptoms.

REPLENSMD™ lubricates the entire vaginal passage and actively moisturises dehydrated cells. Used regularly REPLENSMD™ also improves the elasticity of vaginal walls, encourages the return of natural secretions and restores the natural acidity of the vagina.

REPLENSMD™ will not affect your partner during unprotected oral or penetrative sex. It is not poisonous and has no taste or smell. If, in the early stages of treatment, extra lubrication is required for intercourse, REPLENSMD™ is safe to use with any over the counter water based lubricant.

REPLENSMD™ is not a contraceptive.

Applying REPLENSMD™ vaginal moisturiser directly from the spcially designed sealed applicator into the vagina enables you to place it exactly where needed.
Clinical studies have shown that the best results are achieved from regular use, three times a week in the morning, rather than with random use.

Depending on the level of initial dryness REPLENSMD™ can be used more than this if necessary. Over time use can be reduced to once a week.
Unfortunately there is no cure for vaginal dryness that is the result of the menopause, hysterectomy or medication and medical treatments such as radiotherapy and if use is stopped completely then symptoms will eventually return.

You can use REPLENSMD™ indefinitely. REPLENSMD™ will cling to cells until they are baturally shed every 72 hours with none of the ingredients being absorbed into the body further than the vaginal walls.

REPLENSMD™ contains purified water (78.8%) as the active ingredient. This is slowly released from poly carbophil - an inert, acidic, bioadhesive polymer which clings to the vaginal walls and serves to hold the gel in place. REPLENSMD™ also contains mineral oil, glycerin, hydrogenated palm oil glyceride, Carbomer 074P, sorbic acid and sodium hydroxide.
REPLENSMD™ contains no animal derivatives.
