ScanWood is selling it´s products under the slogan: " Design by Scanwood - Made by Nature ". This statement is also reflected in grafic layout, which we are using variously, when marketing our products.
With this statement, we want to stress, that our products come from sustainable european forrests, where you have an increase in forrest area of 0,7% each year. After 10 years this is equal to the area of Ireland.
Our products are renewable resource based and as 1 cbm of wood is removing 1 ton of C02 from the atmosphere, our products are very eco friendly.In 2010 we introduce a new line of products made from european black oak. Most dark woods in the market today come from either African countries or the far east, where you have a decrese in forest area.
