- Providing support when working out:
Specific micronutrients to help support the body while training, like L-Carnitine and the plant isolate Octacosanol which is often used by athletes to help support a lean body mass.

L-Carnitine is used by the body to burn fatty acids into energy and assist in electron transport in cell mitochondria.

Octacosanol is believed to perform a number of beneficial actions in the body such as assisting the body's ability to use oxygen which muscles need during exercise to perform and recover. Octacosanol may support muscle function by preventing the build up of lactic acid and increasing the body's ability to store glucose as muscle glycogen.

- Developed to provide premium nutritional support in sport and fitness:
Wellman® Sport contains antioxidant protection from vitamins C and E, which are thought to be especially important for endurance athletes. This is because antioxidants help protect against the increased production of free radicals generated during exercise.

Wellman® Sport also contains amino acids L-Arginine and L-Tyrosine. L-Arginine provides the building blocks for proteins, muscle tissue and is ideal for those with hectic lifestyles who want to get the best out of their sports training, while L-Tyrosine is known to help sustain energy release and plays a role in metabolism.

- Helping to achieve optimum performance:
Co-enzyme Q10 is required for electron transport, generating energy within cells and also used by the body as an antioxidant.

B-complex vitamins help support efficient release of energy from food and help maintain red blood cell formation and muscle function.

- Wellman Sport also contains other key nutrients including:
Siberian Ginseng Extract – Traditionally used for many years as an herbal adaptogen to maintain vitality and may help support physical and mental performance. Siberian Ginseng is approved for use and is not contraindicated in sport.

Vitamin E (natural source) - antioxidant that can also help maintain tissue health.

Vitamin C – Important to help protect against the free radical damage in skin cells and to maintain a healthy immune system.

B Vitamins – involved in protein and energy metabolism.

Iron – Present only in moderation as men have lower requirements than women and high levels are not recommended. Iron is a vital part of haemoglobin found in red blood cells.
