Eludril mouthwash is an antibacterial and analgesic
solution which inhibits dental plaque formation.
Eludril mouthwash is indicated as a aid in the treatment and preventaion of gum
inflamation along with the maintenance of oral hygiene.
This medicine is a disinfectant for the cleasing of removable dentures.
Eludril mouthwash is also suitable in the management of common mouth ulcers and oral
candidal infections (fungus infection) and may be used as an adjuvant treatment for minor
infections of the throat. |

If symptons persist consult your doctor. Eludril mouthwash is contra - indicated in
persons known to be sensitive to either chlorhexidine gluconate or chlorobutanol. |
| Directions / Advice: |
As a mouthwash, dilute 10 to 15 ml (two to three
teaspoonfuls) in a third of a tumbler of lukewarm water (final dilution 1 in 3 to 1 in 4)
and use as a mouthwash or a gargle two or three times a day.
As a disinfectant for removable dentures, prepare a 1 in 3 dilution of Eludril with water
and soak the denture previously cleansed in the solution for one hour. |

Chlorhexidine gluconate BP .......... 0.1% w/v
Chlorobutanol (hemihydrate) EP ...... 0.5% w/v
It also contains poloxamer, ethanol, sorbitol, menthol, methyl and propyl
parahydroxybenzoates, mint essence and water. |
