SUNSENSE should always be used in conjunction with other forms of protection like hats, sunglasses, clothing and shade.
Apply SUNSENSE at least 15 minutes before going outside to give it time to bond to your skin. Apply at least 30mL (for an adult), to clean dry skin to ensure adequate coverage. Remember it's always better to apply more than not enough.
Sunscreens wear off the skin with normal usage. It is necessary to reapply SUNSENSE after swimming, exercise, heavy perspiration and toweling dry. For more information consult your SUNSENSE pack.
The sun does not need to feel hot to damage your skin. The damage is caused by ultraviolet (UV) radiation. UV ages the skin, can burn the skin, and can cause skin cancer.
Apply SUNSENSE even when sitting in the shade. Surfaces such as sand, water, snow and concrete can reflect the sun's rays onto your skin even though you are in the shade.
