Evening primrose is a flower which contains an essential fatty acid called Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA). This omega 6 fatty acid cannot be manufactured in the body and is required for the maintenance of the skin, heart function and metabolism. Evening primrose oil can also help to restore healthy hormonal balance and is commonly taken by women of all ages.
Healthilife evening primrose capsules contain 500mg of this important oil of which 9% is GLA. They are also fortified with 100% of the recommended daily allowance of Vitamin E which is good for heart and skin health.
