Also known as starflower oil, borage is often used as an alternative to evening primrose oil and is good for its skin moisturising and balancing properties. this oil, like evening primrose oil, contains the useful fatty acid, gamma linolenic acid (GLA) which soothes and rehydrates the skin. GLA rich oils are often taken internally in capsule form for balancing the female cycle.
Use this oil (or evening primrose oil) in blends to soothe and rehydrate problem skin. also use in blends for body massage in conjunction with suitable essential oils. you can add just a few drops to a blend, right up to 100% if needed. supplied in non-pvc plastic bottles.
