This flexible support is designed to provide comfortable support for the thumb CMC joint while allowing full hand function. The strap surronds the thumb for extra CMC support and light compression it exerts aids in reducing thumb pain. The support is made of 1.6mm perforated neoprene, with a terry cloth liner that helps to keep the skin cool and comfortable. The reinforced stitching allows the splint to be trimmed below the thumb MP joint if needed. This brace may be helpful for use with CMC joint arthritis and/or instability, tendonitis, tenosynovitis or RSI's. To determine size, measure MP circumference.
