Just over 20 years ago Promedics began as a family owned manufacturer of orthopaedic soft goods including hand and leg splints for the U.K. market place. As our business grew we began to supplement our range by importing a small number of items from an American company, who also supplied us with a wide range of aids to daily living.
As our customer requirements grew we began to explore sources from other companies both in the U.K. and overseas, until eventually we were dealing with over 60 companies in 30 countries in every part of the world.
In turn, many of them saw our products and began to purchase them to add to their own ranges, and today we export Promedics and products to over 35 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Asia
and the USA.
Promedics business has increased significantly and we are now regarded as a major distributor to the market. As a result of this continued growth we have recently invested in a £1 million production and warehousing facility in Port Glasgow, Scotland.
This investment will enable us to ensure that we maintain our excellent customer service as we continue to grow and develop our business at the level of service you would expect from one of the U.K’s most respected suppliers.
