| Product Description |
Water resistant Edelweiss Sun Cream SPF 20 provides broad- spectrum sun protection; the mineral UV filter, with the active ingredients Titanium dioxide and Zinc oxide, reflects both UVA and UVB rays, helping to protect from the visible signs of premature skin ageing and damage. Protection is further enhanced by Edelweiss extract and carrot oil, which help to bind damaging free radicals produced by the sun’s rays. Edelweiss provides a soothing feeling and gently cares for the skin. Pure Sesame Oil together with gentle Shea Butter nourishes the skin.
Suitable for vegans.

Before going out in the sun apply the cream evenly. For prolonged exposure or after swimming, apply as often as needed. Unlike synthetic sun filters, protection begins with the mineral filters immediately after application, as the pigments provide a physical reflective barrier to the sun’s rays

| Review |
Our skin is a living part of us and can absorb what we put on it. If we use products with synthetic ingredients, these chemicals can not only irritate our skin on the outside, but over time may also contribute to the cumulative build up of chemicals in our system because our bodies can find it extremely difficult to get rid of them. This is a result of modern-day living, but it doesn’t have to be like that.
At Weleda we made a conscious decision from the outset to avoid artificial ingredients and use only raw materials from the natural world – for example, naturally occurring minerals like sodium chloride or honey, and precious plant ingredients grown organically, or better still biodynamically at our own farms around the world. By using essential oils in our bodycare products for their natural preservative properties we avoid the need to use artificial preservatives such as parabens. Many Weleda bodycare products bear the BDIH kite mark (certified natural cosmetic) so you can tell at a glance the product is genuinely natural.
