Quality features – material science The decisive feature of the WMF Ceramill mills is the Crushgrind grinding mechanism made of high-grade ceramics, a high-tech material. Crushgrind is the worldwide protected designation for this grinding mechanism.
Ceramics is a natural material which is very hard; therefore it is nearly abrasion-resistant and extremely durable (10 years guarantee). Further advantages of the Ceramill grinding mechanism: absolutely corrosion-free, which makes it best suitable for salt; neutral in flavour and food-safe; also grinds dried and crushed spices Application The application is very easy.
Open the mill
Fill the mill:
Remove the plug, fill in spices and attach plug again - finished!
There are no bothersome rods.
Adjusting the grinding level:
The grinding level can be changed by turning the adjusting wheel at the bottom of the mill. Coarse/fine is indicated through dots of different sizes.
Grinding:
Hold the lid with one hand and turn the mill with other hand to and fro. Maintenance Residues of strongly oily spices like cloves may affect the grinding function. In this case grind soiled mills with coarse salt until all residues have been eliminated. Do not use water and washing-up liquid for cleaning.
