Goji Berries have been used in Chinese medicine for more than 6,000 years – meaning they have greater longevity and popularity than Betamax, shell suits and the band Kula Shaker combined. Probably due, in no small part, to the fact that they contain Vitamins C, B2 and A, iron, selenium and other antioxidants like polysaccharides.
As well as having a lovely delicate flavour, pumpkin seeds are pretty special nutritionally. Almost 30% of the energy in a pumpkin seed comes from its protein and they’re also a great source of vitamins and minerals - particularly magnesium that supports the creation of ATP (adenosine triphosphate, the energy molecules of your body).
Dark chocolate contains high levels of cocoa so whilst it tastes fab it’s also increasingly being recognised as a source of iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorous, zinc and antioxidants.

Almonds taste great but more importantly they’re high in monounsaturated fats, the same healthy fats found in olive oil, which have been associated with reduced risk of heart disease.
