An incomparable flavour
Sichuan Pepper is in fact the berry of thorny ash, a tree of Chinese origin. It has a spicy taste and a subtle lemon smell and is widely used in oriental cooking.
Its use is similar to black pepper but it is stronger and aromatic. It Is added at the end of the preparation, briefly roasted and ground.
It goes perfectly with for pork dishes, chicken or duck, fish, vegetables, soups and pasta.
