Simmers was established in 1888 when Forbes Simmers, with £60 and a borrowed horse, took over a country bakery in the village of Hatton in Aberdeenshire.
Over the years Simmers Biscuits steadily became well known throughout Scotland. Today the most popular lines are made in a larger bakery in Edinburgh.
