Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn candle out of reach of children and pets. Always leave at least 10 cm between candles. Do not burn the candles on or near anything that can catch fire.
Trim wick 5 mm each time before lighting. Always snuff out the flame. Do not blow it out. Do not use lid to snuff out flame.
On the first burn always burn for 3-4 hours to ensure an even melt pool. If there is wax on side of container continue to burn for 3-4 hour intervals for a clean burn. Ensure the wick is central before the wax sets between burns. Extinguish when 5mm of wax remains do not relight, Dispose of finished candle wax (5 mm) into your bin, container can be re used to hold loose change or as a plant holder!
